We held a welcome party at Nishi-Waseda International Student House.

At the Nishi-Waseda International Student House, a residence exclusively for exchange students at Waseda University, 70 new students moved in this March. To help the students from 22 different countries and regions quickly adjust to dorm life, we held a welcome party on March 31, shortly after their arrival.

The barbecue and yakisoba prepared by the dorm manager and RAs were very well received, and the residents enjoyed the food with great satisfaction. During the party, the students were divided into groups for a quiz competition, which encouraged communication and helped strengthen the bonds among the residents.

The new exchange students will spend either one semester (about five months) or two semesters (ten months) at Waseda University as their Host Institution, earning the necessary credits before returning to their Home Institutions.

We, including the dorm manager and RAs, will continue to support the residents to ensure they have a fulfilling and meaningful student life during their stay at Waseda.
