We held a welcome party at Espoir Mejiro Dormitory.
At Espoir Mejiro, the women’s dormitory exclusively for female students at Waseda University, we welcomed 16 new residents this spring. On March 29, the RA team and senior dorm residents hosted a welcome party.
Although the new residents were a bit nervous at first, by the time everyone finished their self-introductions, they had already warmed up to each other. The atmosphere became lively and friendly, with plenty of “girls’ talk” unique to a women’s dormitory. After the party, everyone enjoyed viewing the beautiful cherry blossoms at Kanda River, a popular spot near the dormitory.
The new residents are undergraduate and graduate students who entered Waseda University this April. They will be starting their new lives at Espoir Mejiro Dormitory.
We, as a dormitory community, will continue to fully support the new residents so they can focus on their studies and club activities with peace of mind and enjoy their university life to the fullest.
